The Rolling stones

The Rolling Stones is a British rock band from London, England. He was trained in 1962 by guitarist and original leader Brian Jones, pianist Ian Stewart, singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards. Bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts then joined them and completed the original formation. Ian Stewart was excluded from official training by group manager Andrew Loog Oldham in May 1963, but continued to work (as road manager and pianist) with the group until his death in 1985. Jagger and Richards quickly formed a duo of songwriters and gradually took over the band's management, replacing an increasingly erratic Brian Jones. The band's name comes from a Muddy Waters song, Rollin' Stone, chosen by Brian. The blues has always been the main source of inspiration for the Stones, who were one of the main actors in the return of this music to the forefront, through the " British blues boom . The Rolling Stones' first recordings are covers of American blues and rhythm and blues. After being successful in the United Kingdom, they became popular in the United States during the "British Invasion". (initiated by the Beatles) in the mid-1960s. Their 1965 single, (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, brought the Stones to the world. From 1966 and the album Aftermath, Jagger and Richards' songs, embellished by Brian Jones' instrumental experiments, developed a stylistic diversity that will remain present to this day. Jones drowned in his pool in July 1969, shortly after he was laid off from the group. He was replaced by Mick Taylor who toured and recorded five studio albums before leaving the Stones in 1974. The former Faces guitarist, Ronnie Wood, took his place and has been keeping it ever since. Bill Wyman left the group in 1993. Bassist Darryl Jones then joined the Stones without becoming an official member.
