Jenifer Yaël Dadouche Bartoli is the eldest daughter of Christine Bartoli, of Corsican origin, and Michel Dadouche, Jew of Algeria. She is from Palneca on the side of her maternal family, which also comes from Marion Bartoli. His family is also in Serra-di-Ferro and Porto-Pollo>. She lives a happy and modest childhood in Nice, with her parents and her brother Jonathan, who is three years his youngest.

From an early age, she is lulled by records that her father, Stevie Wonder, James Brown and The Beatles, listen to. Her mother, herself an orchestral singer, takes over the repertoires of Piaf, Brel, Aznavour, while her maternal grandmother teaches her flamenco and traditional Corsican songs. At the age of seven, at a family party, she surprises an improvised audience with a cover of Edith Piaf's song Milord.
