Kenny g

Kenneth Gorelick , born June 5, 1956 in Seattle, better known by his stage name Kenny G , is an American saxophonist of instrumental pop and smooth jazz.

At the age of 17, he began playing in Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra. He studied at the University of Washington. Since 1981, he has recorded several solo albums and has worked with Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole and Aretha Franklin. Kenny G managed to break through with his fourth album "DuoTones" . In 1994, Kenny G won the Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition for his piece Forever in Love . It was a resounding success with the hits Songbird and Waiting for You .

From his album Breathless (1992), Kenny G works with his friend and producer Walter Afanasieff ( "My Heart Will Go On" (Céline Dion) or < hero (Mariah Carey)).

In 1993, he was featured in the Wayne's World 2 movie, when Garth imagined him at a concert while a dentist cut his teeth.

In 2011, he made an appearance in Katy Perry's music video as Uncle Kenny.

He is also represented in an episode of My Godparents Are Magic.
