Kill hannah

Kill Hannah is an Alternative Rock band from Chicago. He is currently in contract with Original Signal and has made 6 albums.

The band Kill Hannah was founded by singer-songwriter Mat Devine. The name Hannah comes from the former girlfriend of Mat Devine. He sang in a band called "In a Jar UK".

After a few demos and small singles (including "Nerver Gas" which had a small success in the field of American indie rock), Kill Hannah recorded at Atlantic Records, "For Never and Ever" in Los Angeles in winter 2003, with producer Sean Beavan (No Doubt, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails) and the Tim Palmer mixer (U2, The Cure, Tears for Fears, HIM).

The album was mostly rerecorded versions of songs they had played live for a year. The song "Kennedy" has received a modest amount of radio play then follows 2 singles "Unwanted" and "From Now On" which will be less successful than the previous single.

In August 2006 released "Until There's Nothing Left Us" and the hit "Lips Like Morphine". Kill Hannah quickly became known until Europe. They will even go on a little English tour with the group Shiny Toy Guns.

In March 2007, Kill Hannah released "Believer", a new single from "Until There's Nothing Left Us".

In September 2007, "Crazy Angel" was announced as a single but no news has since been announced despite a clip supposedly shot at the Metro Chicago.

In December 2007, while the New Heart For Xmas knows a new success and after a tour in the first part of HIM in England, Kill Hannah released a collection of demos and rare titles: "Hope For The Hopeless"

But it is April 11, 2008 that Kill Hannah sets foot for the first time in France. During a concert at the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris as part of the American group Aiden.

On October 21, 2008, while on a European tour, their bus caught fire, removing business, souvenirs, equipment. Dates are canceled but they will complete their tour in England.

In 2009, Kill Hannah signed with a new label, Original Signal, and their scheduled tour with Madina Lake was canceled. Guitarist Jonathan Radtke decides to leave the band. Nevertheless, Kill Hannah continues to write and compose songs some of which are already known, such as "Acid Rain" and "Radio".

On September 29th, 2009, Wake Up The Sleepers is released, a new album featuring many featuring Good Charlotte's Benji Madden on "Snowblinded" and Chibi on The Birthday Massacre on "Mouth To Mouth".

Kill Hannah finally finds a new guitarist, Maddox.
