Loudness

Loudness ( ) , also stylized LOUDNESS , is a group of Japanese heavy metal from Osaka. Loudness was formed in 1981 by guitarist Akira Takasaki. This is the first album to be released in the West in 1980s , sometimes classified as Billboard .

Loudness was formed in 1981 by virtuoso guitarist Akira Takasaki and drummer Munetaka Higuchi after the separation of their previous group, Lazy , in February 1980, joined by singer Minoru Niihara, ex-member of Earthshaker , and bassist Masayoshi Yamashita, Takasaki's childhood friend >>>>>>>. With this training, Loudness signs the label Nippon Columbia and records his first studio album, The Birthday Eve . Despite the reduced presence of the genre heavy metal in the Japanese media at this period>, and for lack of single promotional from the album, The Birthday Eve and the concerts that follow cover a fairly moderate success> . Takasaki's flashy shred and the seriousness of other musicians will become the band's trademark in the studio and on stage>. The group, enthusiastic thanks to the good sales in the Japanese markets, successively and quickly produces four studio albums, and the Takasaki guitarist launches his solo career, with a first album, Tusk of Jaguar , involving the group.

In 1983, after the recording of their third album, The Law of Devil's Land , the group embarked on its first American tour, which follows 'a tour in Europe>. They go to Europe to record their fourth album, Disillusion , playing several concerts, as described in their second video Eurobounds . In order to be recognized internationally, the group re-recorded the vocal song of in English>, publishing their first album out of Japan in 1984 .

In 1985, the group moved to the United States and signed a contract with the American label Atco Records, changing musical style for a more commercial glam metal. Their fifth album, "in the"> Thunder in the East , produced by Max Norman, is well received by the trade press>. This is their first album to reach the top of the Billboard 200 , mainly , thanks to the single Crazy Nights , whose video is broadcast in loop on MTV.
