One night only

One Night Only is a British alternative rock band from Helmsley, North Yorkshire, England.

One Night Only formed in the summer of 2003, and originally comprised of Hayton, Parkin, Ford as well as a school friend Kai Smith. The band then had no singer until George Craig, a friend of Ford's brother joined the group. The group asks him to be the band's regular singer, but he also asks to play the guitar. Smith leaves shortly after the group.

Contrary to some rumors, they did not start by playing Beatles hits, but instead playing group songs such as Blink 182, New Found Glory and their own creations. The name, One Night Only, came when they were asked to do a concert, they had no names at that time, "One Night Only" then came because, as he literally indicates, it had to be used for "one night only," but the group decides to keep it. They perform their first concert on December 12, 2003 at Kirkbymoorside Memorial Hall, which became a popular venue in the early days.

In 2005, keyboardist Jack Sails joined the band. The group then appears in the show Alan Carr and Justin-Lee Collins, The Friday Night Project which allows the group to play their third single It's About Time. George Craig also appeared in Hollyoaks (an English soap opera) where he plays an acoustic version of the same song.
