The Dead weather

The Dead Weather is a super alternative American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. He trained in 2009 with Alison Mosshart (Kills), Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age), Jack Lawrence (Raconteurs) and Jack White (The White Stripes and Raconteurs).

This is the third group founded by Jack White after the White Stripes and the Raconteurs. Once again, this new band is signed on White's label. Nevertheless, he is on this project only one member among the others: if he composed all the songs of the White Stripes alone, and composed those of the Raconteurs with Brendan Benson, he does not take part in the writing of all the songs from The Dead Weather. In addition, he abandons his guitar here in favor of a drums, instrument with which he evolved in the 1990s with his first bands.

In January 2009, Alison Mosshart, Jack Lawrence, Dean Fertita and Jack White meet for the first time. This beefy encounter took place at Third Man Studios owned by Jack White. Two months later, on March 11, 2009, the creation of The Dead Weather was revealed at the opening of the Third Man Records label in Nashville, which was followed by the band's first concert and the immediate release of its first album. single: Hang You from the Heavens>.
