Pet shop boys

Pet Shop Boys is a British synth-pop band from London, England. He was trained in 1981 by Neil Tennant, singing, keyboard, occasionally guitar and Chris Lowe, synthesizer and very rarely singing. Their style of music is synthpop, it evolves between disco, house and techno.

The band has more than fifty million albums sold worldwide and has many hits such as West End Girls, Suburbia, It's a Sin, Always on My Mind, What Have I Done to Deserve This? with Dusty Springfield, Go West, and New York City Boy.

Neil Tennant, then editor for Marvel Comics UK> and Chris Lowe, architecture student at the University of Liverpool>, meet at a Chelsea electronics store in London on August 19, 1981>, their common passion for dance music and the synthesizers pushes them to write songs, first under the name of West End then Pet Shop Boys >>>. In 1982, they decided to record their first model> but it will be necessary to wait for April 9, 1984> to appear their first 45 round, West End Girls, produced by Bobby Orlando, met in 1983>. The latter will produce the title on his own Bobcat Records label. The expected success is not at the rendezvous, except in Belgium, in France as well as in the discos of Los Angeles and San Francisco >>>.

On September 24, 1984, at The Fridge Club, located in Brixton, a district in South London, the group gave its first concert.
