The Evpatoria report

The Evpatoria Report is a post-rock Swiss music group. Active from 2002 to 2008, he announced to return to the studio in 2015.

Its name refers to the Ukrainian city of Evpatoria (in Crimea) where the RT-70 P-2500 radio telescope participating in the SETI program is located and has sent several messages in space, including Cosmic Call , the title of a song from the group.

The group was formed in 2002 in Yverdon-les-Bains, several members playing together since 1999>. A first EP with two titles was released in 2003. The Evpatoria Report participated in the 2004 edition of the For Noise Festival>. 2005 sees the release of Golevka> which assures the group a certain local notoriety >>> and is well received by fans of the genre>. Its title refers to the asteroid of the same name, discovered almost simultaneously by observatories GOLdstone (California), EVpatoria and KAshima (Japan) in 1991. In some images, the asteroid Golevka, very irregular shapes, evokes a face human.

The group performs several concerts in Paris and Switzerland, some in the company of Red Sparowes >>>. On August 15, 2006, he started the evening of which Radiohead is headlining at the festival Rock Oz'Arènes>,>,>. He then gives several concerts at festivals in Germany and Belgium. The band is also touring Russia with Opak, another Swiss music group>.
