Selah sue

Selah Sue , by her real name Sanne Putseys , born May 3, 1989 in Leuven (Belgium), is a Belgian singer-songwriter.

She began her career in 2008. Her first EP was released in 2008, under the title Black Part Love and contained 5 tracks. His first album, Selah Sue, was released in 2011 (which sells 300,000 copies> then is certified platinum double disc in France and platinum record in Poland) and the second, Reason, in 2015.

Sanne Putseys was born in Leuven, but lived in the nearby village of Leefdaal. His mother is a nurse and his father is an accountant.

At the age of 15, Sanne Putseys learned to play acoustic guitar and began writing his own songs. At 17, she is the youngest and only female participant of the Het Depot Open Mic-avond competition in Leuven. The organizer and singer Milow notices his talents and asks him to play his first parts of concert. Initially, Sanne Putseys manages his musical career in parallel with his studies of psychology at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. According to her, studying psychology has helped her to better understand human emotions, which also play a role in her musical activities. Finally, she continues to make the first parts in collaboration with artists like Jamie Lidell in London and Paris. In addition, she played with the Belgian group Novastar at Paradiso in Amsterdam.
