Silent Civilian is a metalcore band from Los Angeles, California.
Jonny Santos left the nude metal band Spineshank in 2004. Following this departure, he felt the urge to change musical direction and began to look for new inspiration. It follows the creation of Silent Civilian, but from the beginning, the group had to face several problems of line-up and they changed of label, starting from Corporate Punishment Records for Mediaskare Records.
Following the release of their first album, Rebirth of the Temple, May 2, 2006. Receiving a good appreciation, the album has sold more than 25,000 copies since its release in the United States.
The band consists of Santos (vocals and guitar), Rudy "Fyto" Perez (guitar) and Stan Derby (bass). Drummer Chris Morra left the band in December 2007 for "personal reasons".
