Spiritual beggars

Spiritual Beggars is a Swedish stoner metal and heavy metal band from Halmstad. He was trained in 1993 by Michael Amott, guitarist of Swedish death metal band Arch Enemy and Carcass.

Spiritual Beggars is formed in 1993 by Michael Amott. Amott starts the group after leaving Carcass. Spiritual Beggars publishes a self-titled debut album, entitled in Spiritual Beggars in 1994. Their second album, Another Way to Shine (1996), is named for a Swedish Grammy>. The cover of the album is done by Hans Arnold. Their third album, Mantra III , features Per Wiberg for the first time on the keyboard. Spiritual Beggars toured Europe with Fu Manchu and made some appearances on stage in support of the album. Their fourth album, Ad Astra, was released in 2000. The band is organizing their Chasing the Stars tour with Iron Maiden, Monster Magnet, and Queens Of The Stone Age, and also plays festivals in Europe and Japan.

The year 2002 witnessed the publication of the band's fifth album, On Fire . The album involves a new formation after the departure of the original singer Christian "Spice" Sjöstrand. the replacements are Janne "JB" Christoffersson from Grand Magus, recommended to Amott by a mutual friend, and Roger Nilsson on bass. On Fire is musically more melodic. A tour in 2003 involved Spiritual Beggars, Clutch, Spiritu and Dozer in support of the album. Spiritual Beggars' sixth album, from Demons , is published in Japan in March 2005, and in Europe on June 20, 2005. Demons is published in two versions - in single CD and double-album version, which includes scenes recorded on their Japanese tour in 2003.

In early 2010, Spiritual Beggars is announced in studio for their seventh album. The album involves their new singer Apollo Papathanasio of Firewind and Evil Masquerade, after their separation in June 2010 from Christoffersson> .. Title, Return to Zero , it is published in Europe on August 30, 2010, in Japan on August 25, 2010, and in North America on October 12, 2010. After its publication, the band plays in Greece, in Japan, in Belgium, in France, and in Finland. Their performance at the Loud Park Festival in Japan on October 17, 2010 is recorded and published under the title Return to Live: Loud Park 2010 . The second Apollo album with Spiritual Beggars, "Earth Blues" , is published on April 16, 2013>. The album is noted for its sound similar to that of Deep Purple>. The same year, they announce the reissues of their first albums, and publish the video of their song Turn the Tide.
