A rocket to the moon

Rocket to the Moon, also abbreviated ARTTM, is an American alternative rock band from Baintree, Massachusetts. He trained in 2006 by Nick Santino. The group split up in August 2013.

A Rocket to the Moon made its appearance in 2006. This is basically the solo project of Nick Santino. In 2008, for his appearance at the Bamboozle (famous US festival), Nick then, with the help of The Maine, gathered other musicians only to perform live. But it's a move to Total Request Live with Dakota that has somehow revealed>. A Rocket to the Moon sign at Decaydance, but the label will be abandoned for unknown reasons >>>. They finally sign up at Fueled By Ramen in August 2008>. The release of EP Greetings from ..., containing Dakota and If Only They Knew, was soon followed.

The first album, On Your Side, was recorded in early 2009. And it was in May 2009 that Justin Richards and Eric Halvorsen, who were then "that" respectively the guitarist and the tour bassist, are officially included as a full member of the band. The If Only they Knew clip is then shot. They then participate in many festivals, including the prestigious Warped Tour, alongside great names on the American scene such as All Time Low, Paramore, The Maine, Cobra Starship, Forever the Sickest Kids, We the Kings, and The Ataris. Shortly before the release of the album (late 2009), Andrew Cook (formerly drummer of The Receiving End of Sirens), is officially recognized as the drummer of the group.

The band finally decided to split in August 2013, after a last concert at the Bazooka Rocks II Music Festival in the Philippines. Nick Santino has been pursuing since a solo career.
