Suicidal Angels is a Greek thrash metal band. He was formed in 2001 by singer and guitarist Nick Melissourgos. The group finds inspiration in the compositions of the great Thrash metal bands of the 80s and 90s, in particular the American band Slayer.
Suicidal Angels was formed in 2001 as a school project by its singer and guitarist. The following year, the band released their first production, the demo United by Hate . In 2003, Suicidal Angels produced a second demo, Angels' Sacrifice , released in 2004 by The Calm Before the Storm . A few months later, the band released their first EP, entitled Bloodthirsty Humanity . Two years later, a second EP comes out, entitled Armies of Hell .
During the month of January 2007, Suicidal Angels' enters the studio to record her first real album, Eternal Domination . As soon as the album was released, the band's reputation and fame grew considerably. During this year, they toured with the black metal band Rotting Christ during their Theogonia's Tour . A few months later, Suicidal Angels goes on tour with Onslaught and Massacre>. During the month of November, the band makes a concert in Athens with the thrash metal band Kreator>.
In March 2009, the band went back to the studio to record a second album, Sanctify the Darkness . The release of this album is followed by a tour with Kataklysm and Overkill bands. During this year, Suicidal Angels will participate in major European metal festivals, such as Wacken Open Air, Metalcamp or the Greek equivalent of the Sonisphere Festival >>>.
