Bakermat , the stage name of Lodewijk Fluttert , born October 8, 1991 in Markelo, is a Dutch disc jockey and musician. His compositions are mainly oriented towards house music and tech house and his sounds are produced with influences of jazz and soul. Bakermat recurrently uses the saxophone in his pieces.

Lodewijk Fluttert was born on 8 October 1991 in the village of Markelo, in the municipality of Hof van Twente, in the province of Overijssel. He made his musical debut while studying psychology at the University of Utrecht. He mixes during student parties and starts producing his own sounds. While sharing his productions on social networks and unknown to the general public, his song Vandaag containing a sample of the speech of Martin Luther King I have a dream reached the first place of many charts around the world, including in France, during his 41> week of operation. Since then, he has devoted himself to his platinum career, notably preparing the Another Man Tour in the United States.

While he chose names in Dutch for his first sounds because originally only intended for the public of the Netherlands, he has since 2014 his creations in English to better make himself known abroad, just like his compatriots Hardwell, Tiësto, Martin Garrix or Afrojack, although not having the same musical style. Its success Vandaag was also marketed under the title of One Day in some countries.
