Above and Beyond , typed Above & Beyond , is a British trance group. He was trained in 2000, composed of Jonathan Grant, better known as Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki. They own two labels, Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep. They host a radio show every Friday night, Group Therapy . The trio is ranked in 2014 at the twenty-fifth place in the DJ Mag Top 100 annual>.

Paavo and Jono meet at the University of Westminster and create the label Anjunabeats in the summer of 1999, they publish a song entitled "Volume One" under the name Anjunabeats. Tony McGuinness came to join the duo in 2000 to finalize a remix of Chakra: Above and Beyond is formed. Subsequently, the trio creates many remixes for confirmed artists such as Delerium, Dido, Tomcraft, Britney Spears, Fragma or Ayumi Hamasaki, but their most famous remix was What It Feels Like For A Girl by Madonna>.

In 2002, the band began a DJ career mixing in front of 8,000 people in Tokyo. After a shy start, the trio gained notoriety and appeared in many clubs and festivals like Creamfields in the United Kingdom or Amnesia in Ibiza.
