Tankcsapda is a Hungarian heavy metal and hard rock band.
Tankcsapda was established in 1989 in Debrecen, Hungary. The band started as a power trio with only drums, bass and guitar playing punk rock. He has constantly expanded his repertoire with different elements of rock music.
The trio first appeared in small venues and released their albums on small independent labels. The group's first major commercial development took place in 1995 with the release of their fourth album, Az Ember Tervez, which became Tankstrapda's first gold record.
