You me at six

You Me at Six is a British pop punk band from Weybridge, Surrey County, England. Formed in 2004, the group is very successful with the release of their first album Take Off You Colors in 2008, including the singles Save It for the Bedroom and Finders Keepers.

The group boasts influences such as Blink 182, Incubus and Thrice>. The year 2011 is synonymous with dedication for You Me at Six with the title of "Best British Band" in Kerrang! Awards>.

Max Helyer (guitar) and Josh Franceschi (vocals) formed the group together in 2004. Three new members quickly joined the group in the people of Matt Barnes (bass), Chris Miller (guitar) and Joe Phillips (drums)> . The latter left the group in 2006, before the release of their first EP and will be replaced by Dan Flint (drums). They will count, before 2014, two EP and three studio albums and have achieved success thanks to their pop punk cover of the song Poker Face by Lady Gaga, but also thanks to their titles The Rumor and Gossip, released in 2008.

The name of the group You Me at Six (which can be translated as "You me to six" in French) comes from a popular expression used to make an appointment, and therefore because the members were all at six to repeat being younger>.
