Isabelle Marie Anne of Truchis de Varennes , known as Zazie , is a French singer and songwriter, born on April 18, 1964 in Boulogne-Billancourt, in the Hauts-de-Seine.

Isabelle Marie Anne of Truchis de Varennes was born on April 18, 1964 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Baron Hervé Truchis de Varennes (born in 1935), urban architect, and Jacqueline Caussé, professor of music, pianist emeritus and chorister of the head of Swiss orchestra Michel Corboz. She has an older brother, Philippe, said Phil Baron, born in 1962, musician, composer, writer and photographer. The writer and historian Alberic de Truchis de Varennes (1861-1944) was his great-great-uncle.

His father Hervé de Truchis of Varennes is part of the French nobility: his family is installed between Bresse and Bugey.

Nicknamed "Zazie" in reference to the novel by Raymond Queneau, Zazie in the metro>, she says very early his penchant for the artistic field. At home, she and her family listen to "3 B" (Brassens, Brel and Barbara) and classical music.
