Colour haze

Color Haze is a German psychedelic stoner / rock band from Munich. It is composed of singer and guitarist Stefan Koglek, drummer Manfred Merwald, and bassist Philipp Rasthofer.

Formed in the mid 1990s, Color Haze is one of the oldest stoner rock bands, and has since become one of the German flag bearers of this music scene. The group's tours include various starring appearances at national and international rock festivals, such as the Roadburn Festival (in 2006 and 2007) and the American festival Emissions from the Monolith in 2006, alongside Orange Goblin, Boris, and General Tso. They are also the subject of local media coverage during the German TV show Rockpalast in 2007, on the WDR channel.

In France, the group played for the first time at the New Casino on February 6, 2011 before performing at the 2012 Hellfest festival. Color Haze returns to Paris on September 29, 2012 at the Nouveau Casino> for a retrospective concert of more than three hours as part of the XXL Show tour (with two additional musicians).

Initially marrying a sound strongly influenced by Kyuss on their first albums, they then move towards a more psychedelic style or even krautrock, especially from Tempel (2006).
