Disturbed

Disturbed is an American nude metal band from Chicago, Illinois. He was trained in 1994 by Dan Donegan, Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, Mike Wengren and David Draiman.

Originally, Disturbed dedicated itself to an alternative metal and naked metal oriented style, in the vein of Korn, Faith No More>, and Deftones>, before devoting itself only to alternative metal>. The group releases its first studio album, The Sickness, which is rapidly gaining popularity with 500,000 copies sold five months after its release, and is certified, in 2008, quadruple-platinum disc in the United States, with four million copies sold. Their second album, Believe, was released in 2002, and reached the top spot of the Billboard 200>.

During its existence, the band has over 14 million copies sold worldwide, becoming one of the most popular bands on the heavy metal scene. In 2009, the band is nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best Hard Rock Performance" category for the song Inside the Fire >>>. The group takes an indefinite break in July 2011, before releasing a new album in August 2015.

After changing his name, Disturbed recorded three new demos, the first including The Game, Down with the Sickness, and Meaning of Life, and the second including Want, Stupify, and Droppin 'Plates. The cover shows the group's new mascot, The Guy. The band signs to the Giant Records label. In 2000, Disturbed released its debut album, The Sickness, which will propel the group in popularity. The album reached 20> Billboard 200>, and will have more than four million copies sold in the United States>. To promote the album, the group gives a concert at La Boule Noire in Paris on November 18, 2000, followed by an appearance in the show Nulle Part Ailleurs on Canal +. Before joining Marilyn Manson's 2001 tour, bassist Steve Kmak finds himself unable to play because of an ankle injury, caused by a fall when he was trying to escape a fire at Chicago>. Kmak does not play the tour, but plays with the band on January 11 and 12, 2001 in Chicago. On the European tour, Marty O'Brien replaces Kmak until he is fit to play.

In February 2001, it is announced that the band has picked up the song Midlife Crisis for an album-tribute to Faith No More>; however, the cover will not be included in the album, but a rerecorded version will appear in the compilation The Lost Children>. In September 2001, the production of their second album is launched. On June 4th, 2002, Disturbed publishes a documentary DVD of the group entitled M.O.L., which includes videos in studio and in the tours, accompanied by video clips. On September 17, 2002, Disturbed released its second album, Believe, which reached # 1 on the Billboard 200 >>>. The first single clip from the album, entitled Prayer, is broadcast on most US TV channels, and has some similarities to the September 11, 2001 attacks. David Draiman recorded the vocal parts of the song Forsaken, written and produced by Jonathan Davis of the band Korn, published as a soundtrack of the movie The Queen of the Damned.
