Donavon frankenreiter

Californian musician, born December 10, 1972, in Downey, Donavon Frankenreiter is a surf enthusiast, sport for which he is sponsored as a free surfer by Billabong, at the age of thirteen.

He started playing guitar at age fifteen and signed in 2003, on the same label as Jack Johnson, Brushfire Records. In 2004, he published his first album, titled Donavon Frankenreiter, on which is the piece Free in duet with Jack Johnson (he made the first part of it in 2005 at La Cigale, Paris).

In 2006, two years after the release of his first album, Donavon released the second, Move By Yourself. Following the release of this new album, Donavon began an international tour and released a live CD and DVD entitled The Abbey Road Sessions. It was also during this tour that he wrote some new tracks that can be found on the CD of six acoustic tracks Recycled Recipes released in 2007.
