Clint mansell

Clinton Darryl "Clint" Mansell , born January 7, 1963, is a composer of British film music and former singer and guitarist of the band Pop Will Eat Itself.

Mansell was the singer and guitarist of Pop Will band Eat Itself. When they signed with Nothing Records, Mansell became friends with Trent Reznor. He also did the chorus on Nine Inch Nails' album The Fragile.

After the dissolution of Pop Will Eat Itself in 1996, Clint Mansell became known thanks to his friend, director Darren Aronofsky, who hired him to direct the soundtrack for his first film, Pi>. He then composed the soundtrack of Aronofsky's second film, Requiem for a Dream, which was particularly well received by both critics and the public, and contributed greatly to his career. The title Lux æterna has become extremely popular, appearing often, especially in trailers >>>>>.

Mansell's composition for Darren Aronofsky's third feature film, The Fountain, was named Best Film Music at the 64th Golden Globes Ceremony.
