Lucifugum

Lucifugum is a Ukrainian black metal band from Zhytomyr.

Lucifugum was formed in 1995 in Zhytomyr by Khlyst (Igor Naumchuk). In the early days of the group, Khlyst remains behind, takes care of the composition and lyrics but leaves Faunus (vocals) and Bal-a-Myth (guitar and bass) to play in his place, until in 2002 Bal-a-Myth does not die in his sleep and Faunus leaves the group. Elena Naumchuk (aka Stabaath) incorporates Lucifugum in 2004. Igor and Elena Naumchuk are also owners of the Propaganda label. Also in 2004, the group relocates to Mykolaiv.

In 2005, Vector33, the group's first studio album starring Stabaath, was released, where she played guitar, bass, and vocals. Since 2008, the band refuses the services of a session drummer and uses a drum machine. Over the years, the musical style of Lucifugum evolves. The first period of the group can be described as symphonic black metal (1996-2000), gradually replaced by thrash metal accompanied by elements of death metal (2001-2003), then by pure black metal since 2004.

July 28, 2014 released a new album called Sublimessiah.
