Fleshgod apocalypse

Fleshgod Apocalypse is an Italian death metal band from Rome>. Formed in 2007, the group incorporates elements of classical and symphonic music.

Fleshgod Apocalypse was formed in 2007 in Rome by Paolo Rossi, Francesco Paoli, Cristiano Trionfera and Francesco Struglia. They record their first demo, titled Promo '07, at 16th Cellar Studio with Stefano "Saul" Morabito as producer, which they publish on August 4, 2007>. The latter will be re-recorded the following year> on a shared split with other Italian groups like Septycal Gorge, Modus Delicti or Onirik.

At the beginning of 2008, after signing a contract with Neurotic Records, the band made a European tour with Behemoth, Origin, Dying Fetus, Hate Eternal, Suffocation, Napalm Death among others. In May of the same year, the band recorded their first studio album Oracles. In December, the group decided to leave Neurotic Records and sign at Willowtip Records, which will produce Oracles in 2009. Shortly after, the band changes its composition by welcoming Tommaso Riccardi to the voice and the rhythm guitar. The position was previously held by Francesco Paoli who then resumes his drummer position, since Francesco Struglia leaves the group.

In January 2010, the EP Mafia is recorded at 16th Cellar Studios and produced by Willowtip Records>. It includes four new titles and a cover of At the Gates' Blinded by Fear song. The band goes on a European tour soon after recording with Suffocation. After which Fleshgod Apocalypse continues with a tour in Russia as headliner. In November 2010, the group signed a global contract with Extreme Management Group, Inc. and began writing their second studio album.
