it's not a "fucking fast kick ass song with one thousand parts and shit"
you must listen to it a couple of times to feel the atmosphere...

Mostly a success. You should name the tracks and arrange them better, like guitar solo goes under guitars instead of keyboards etc... Also the fast solo was a bit out of place on this song. Otherwise, well done.

well i didn't named the tracks because the intruments change so it would be stupid if there's written guitar 96 and a flute is playing.....

Pleasant beginning. Nice fingerpicking guitar and better transition to main riff. Chorus is great. Odd melody there, but I mean that in a good way. The only real difference that I noticed between the main riff and verse is the choir. Solo 1 was pretty good, nice feeling. Acoustic work was great, solo was alright -- the faster bit in there brought it down a bit. The thrash part left me wondering that the heck it was doing in this song, but it’s good. Solo 3 provided a nice path to the heavy part, which didn’t quite fit as well in the song. Outro is great. Nice work. 4

first of all i'd just like to say that i liked this song, that chorus melody kept me interested the whole time, even if most of the song used the same progression. solo's are pretty good, my favorite was the acoustic one, i thought it fit best in the context of the song... Nice work! there were some transissions that were shifty (i.e. bars 168-169) but that's a minor setback, and while the thrash and heavy parts clashed with the rest of the song, they were good on their own, so i won't hold that against you. fade out was good. the thing i liked most about this song was the three measure length of the progression. IMO it the song feel different, somewhat urgent. 4 stars!

This song is good. The chorus could use a better lead line on it. The solo is good though, it fits well. The thrash part is also goods, sounds like old Megadeth which is always good. Nice work.

I liked the way this song flows. I'm not into this style, but I can tell a good song and when someone was passionate about something when they write!. The solos are neatly arranged, and they sound pretty good! I was mostly impressed by the accoustic - nice work. I didn't know why there was a thrash part in it either, but it actually mixed in just fine. Much to my chagrin.

1. The flute in the intro was very good, I'd have used it more often to bring in a more sad mood into the song.

2. It sounds like a struggle between sad and happy music (especially in chorus) and one can't really find out who wins. If that was your intention then you made it perfect.

3. The prash-part destroyes the sad/happy atmosphere which was really great

4. The heavy-part is great, I always like heavy parts!!

Now don't get me wrong, the song is great, but comments/critiques are naming the negatives

I could give you a 4.0 because of the trash-part but on the otherside point 2. of my comments above makes you get a 4.5

Eternity Has Past by Gepe

Competition score :

Use and respect of Musical language : 7/10
Structure : 6/10
Orchestration : 7/10
Use of composition techniques : 15/20
Rhythm : 15/20
Melody : 7.5/10
Bass line : 6/10
Punch : 7/10

Advices :

Key signature : Fine!
Nuances : Not really a lot used but well done in some places!
Melodic hook : Accoustic intro really hooked strong
Originality : This is a nice song but not really standing out!
General appreciation : Really loved the intro 
Commercial possibilities : Not much too say here it could but…..
General use of GP software : use of musical directions or repetition tool would have shorten it and use of tool to fill empty
bars…

You could have sum rest in some spots. Structure is a bit weak transition between parts were not going easy except for Trash part. I really like the dialogue bettween track 3 and 4 in chorus. Some guitar fills going along with drum fills would have create excitement. Rhythm is straight forward and not really moving except for drum which was really nice. Some good melodies but not that much…The bass was not really standing out it almost go unnotice. Some punches but not making something happening!

3.5 Stars

Keep on!

**Empty bars not filled with rest and no appropriately named tracks are unacceptable in a competition**
