Loved most of the solos (and the comments lol). However some of them were just 4 notes..... 4 notes.... so it was a bit harder to judge on that. Anyway, the 1st and 2nd solos were awesome. The mega man thing... well.. i dug it because i like mega man but yeah that dropped you a little. The tab was excellent overall. THe first few bars are nice.Than comes that swoosh thing that i didnt like.BAr 9 is amazing. The stuff before the acoustic part are good. And comes the rhytam d00d and fucks the whole thing up. Bars 22,23,24 are awfull. And so are bars 27 and 28.MAybe some tapping would be better instead what you did. And i couldnt hear the rhytam d00d solo(or there wasnt any,but there was supposed to be one in bars 32 and 33 or it wasnt, you confused me :S) Second solo Bar 49 could been better.THe stuff before is pretty good.THe stuff after bar 49 is also solid. THe whole solo could be a bit louder. And bar 55 sucks. Solo the Dual(fancy name right ;) or better put SOlo ZE DUal h...mm...) It starts pretty nice and then it gets fucked up in bars 73-77,and it get better in bar 78.Bar 79 is cool and the rest is random following of the pregiven solo. Third solo HAs a special vibe have to say.I didnt like the repeating of the same twice(well not the whole bar) But i liked the theme so its okay.I liked this solo. Fourth Solo Nice start with the organ(it is a organ right). And the rest is pretty slow compering to the rest, but IMO its better then the rest. Everbody was good in this solo but as I said your was the best(why I am I saying this because Spin said that he will use the best solo in his song so i am just saying my opinion) Fifth Solo Hey this sound serious.:) I liked.Well i could be done better but its pretty solid compering to the rest. RAtin will be posted in the forum!!! Posted by beba nema zvecku {{ 33 tabs / 4 corrections }} on: 05 Jul 2007 07:11 Rated as: Unrated And yeah i forgot

the beginning is good, though it feels like you don't know where you're going, & the mood of your solo changes rather abruptly several times. But afterwards it's better, & the dialogue gives you an opportunity to justify your stylistic shifts, which is cool. dunno if i ought to take that into account, but well, i will, cos i liked it :) & i'm not a judge anyway so who cares. There's one part (bars 26 to 30) that i thought was particularly good, & consistent. so that's my favorite bit :) as for the ending it's a bit weird, but then the backing track is weird :P
so that's 3.5/5 for this solo. pretty good.
SOLO 2
ok first i think there's a bit of a mixing issue on this one: the lead is not loud enough... now i know the backing track was loud, but you had to get around this: change the panoramic, use dynamics, maybe restrict yourself as much as possible to the high register. anyway, no big deal but i thought worth mentioning. Apart from that, i thought it was pretty good, and more consistent than #1. i like the melody in bars 44-48. nice :) The rest was not as good, but OK.
I'd mark this one 4/5!
SOLO 3
The dual solo: good intro, i don't know Iced Earth but it sounds nice :) The rest of the dual solo was not as good unfortunately. the flute was a good touch though, plus i think dual soloing is easier with a different instrument. but i didn't like the rest as much. i'm afraid i don't quite know why, it just doesn't seem to work. for instance, i didn't like bar 75, or bar 80. The "Solo" solo was better, especially the beginning. But it got rather 'weighty' afterwards, in particular because of "static" bars 87 & 89 (and some others, to a lesser extent).
OK, 2.5/5 for this one, not too bad, but really not as good as the others.
SOLO 4
Hahah, liked the Hammond. :) totally unexpected! the "filler" part (bar 105) felt weird though. too bad. The guitar is OK. i liked the beginning. & the ending sounded good, which is a feat since the backing track ends on a non diatonic chord. :) What's in between was sometimes good (112-117) sometimes a bit less.
good job on the whole. 3.5/5.
SOLO 5
So far, I think you win on this one! i like it :) except the ending. well, granted, the backing stops abruptly, but you should try to find a more conclusive piece of melody to end on... Anyway, the rest was good (especially bar 134! ;) & u somehow managed to squeeze some emotion other than out of this song!)
Kudos! 4/5.
TOTAL:
..... 17.5/25
==> 3.5/5
GENERAL ADVICE: maybe work on continuity & consistency throughout a solo. i don't know the way you write music, but you might the kind of guy who has difficulty discarding a bar that doesn't fit in with the ones before or after, because the bar itself is cool... no?
Anyway, still a really good job!
