Lindsey Stirling , born September 21, 1986 in Santa Ana, Orange County, California, is a violinist, performance artist and American composer.

Recognized for the versatility of her music, from classical to more current genres (pop, rock, electro, dubstep)>, she has participated in several American competitions including the fifth season of the show America's Got Talent, where she went presented as a "hip-hop violinist" >>>>>. She finished in the quarter-finals, encouraged by Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan who describe her as "electrifying".

In September 2012, she released her first album titled Lindsey Stirling, which met a relatively large success, even placing in the top 5 in Germany and Australia. Three albums follow, Shatter Me in 2014, Brave Enough in 2016 and Artemis in 2019, a Christmas cover album, Warmer in the Winter in 2017, as well as several tours around the world. His modern style helps to popularize the violin with young people. In November 2017, his YouTube channel has more than ten million subscribers and his clips over two billion views. She has performed with such artists as Sean Kingston, Donny Osmond, Alan Jackson, The Piano Guys, Pentatonix, John Legend, Marina Kaye, Celine Dion and Evanescence.

Lindsey Stirling was born in Santa Ana, Orange County, California in 1986. At the age of 5, influenced by classical music listened to by her parents, the girl asked to learn to play the violin. Despite the financial difficulties of her family, she received her first lessons at the age of six.
