Mark tremonti

Mark Thomas Tremonti (born April 18, 1974) is an American musician, singer and songwriter, best known as a lead guitarist of Creed and Alter Bridge. He is the founder of several groups, and has collaborated with several artists over the years. He formed his own group, Tremonti, in 2011, and released his first solo album All I Was in July 2012, followed by Cauterize in June 2015 and Dust in April 2016.

During the early years with Creed, Tremonti received some notoriety as a guitarist and songwriter, and has received numerous awards, a Grammy Award for the single "With Arms Wild Open". He is also named "Guitarist of the Year" for the third consecutive year by the American magazine Guitar World. In 2011 he is listed as the fourth best heavy metal guitarist of all time by Total Guitar magazine.

Vocal side, although it is usually limited to a role of chorister and therefore only accompanies, he has however sung himself, or ticked several pieces, such as "My Own Prison", "A Thousand Faces" of Creed, or more recently "Words Darker Than Their Wings" and "Water Rising" by Alter Bridge.

However, he had the opportunity to perfect his vocal technique as he composed an entire solo album (as lead vocalist and backing vocalist) titled All I Was released in July 2012, and toured in 2012-2013. A double album was born, Cauterize in June 2015 and Dust in April 2016.
