Teenage Dream is the third studio album of American singer Katy Perry (3> if we take into account Katy Hudson released in 2001 under her real name Katy Hudson). It was released August 24, 2010 in North America and August 30 in the rest of the world. The first single announced is California Gurls with Snoop Dogg, his first radio tour from May 7, 2010. To continue the exploitation of this new opus, Katy Perry chooses California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Firework, ET and Last Friday Night (TGIF) . With 5 singles n> 1 consecutive of this album, she becomes the only female artist to have achieved this feat, only Michael Jackson has succeeded.

Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection is a reissue of the album Teenage Dream (2010) released March 26, 2012. The song Part of Me is extracted from this reissue as well as the song Wide Awake .

On October 13, 2009, Katy returns to the studio, announcing via the internet that she will surround herself over the coming months with renowned producers: Greg Wells, Guy Sigsworth, Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Ryan Tedder, Rivers Cuomo, Thaddis "Kuk Harrell, Greg Kurstin, Benny Blanco, Cathy Dennis, Dean Ester, The-Dream and Christopher "Tricky" Stewart.
