Minus the bear

Minus the Bear is an American rock band from Seattle>. Founded in 2001, the group consists of former members of Botch, Kill Sadie and Sharks Keep Moving. They made the opening of the festival "Rock en Seine" in Paris on August 27, 2010.

Minus the Bear is an independent rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, USA in 2001. They made four albums and four EPs. The band consists of Jake Snider (vocals, guitar), Dave Knudson (guitar), Cory Murchy (bass), Alex Rose (keyboards, vocals) and Erin Tate (drums).

On January 2, 2006, Matt Bayles, keyboardist and producer for Minus the Bear, announces that he is leaving the band to dedicate himself full time to his producer career. His last concert with the group was on January 28, 2006. As a result, he was replaced by Alex Rose, who had previously worked as a sound engineer on the group's second album, Menos el Oso.

Interpretaciones del Oso, an album of song releases from their second album Menos el Oso, was released on February 20, 2007, via Suicide Squeeze Records>.
