4 Non Blondes is an American rock band from San Francisco, California. Before the release of their first album, Roger Rocha replaces Shaunna Hall on guitar, and Dawn Richardson replaces Wanda Day on drums. Their album Bigger, Better, Faster, More! goes out in 1992 without being talked about. It's with the title What's Up? that they are successful in 1993. In 1995, Linda Perry left the group to start a solo career, the band was dissolved.
Bassist Christa Hillhouse and guitarist Shaunna Hall, roommates, meet Wanda Day, a drummer who joins the band. They play in trio until the arrival of Perry singing.
