A Pale Horse Named Death is a group of Gothic metal and American doom metal, from Brooklyn, New York. It is formed by Sal Abruscato, the former drummer of Type O Negative. The band has a total of three albums: And Hell Will Follow Me (2011), Lay My Soul to Waste (2013) and When the World Becomes Undone (2019)

At the end of 2017, Sal Abruscato announced his good-term start to the band Life of Agony, where he was the drummer and with which he recorded a third album with his band, called A Pale Horse Named Death.
