Acceptance is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington. Formed in 1998, the group publishes its first EP, Lost for Words , in 2000, followed by Black Lines to Battlefields in 2003 (this EP will be reissued with bonus tracks). Their first album, Phantoms , was released in 2005.
On January 26, 2015, Acceptance announces its return. He publishes his first piece in ten years, "Take You Away" on May 8, 2015. A second album, Colliding by Design , is published on February 24, 2017.
The nationally-touring group shares the stage including The Juliana Theory, Anberlin, Finch, Further Seems Forever, and Seether; they also play notably at Warped Tour and Cornerstone Festival. Their first EP, Lost for Words is distributed by a small independent local label in Seattle called Rocketstar Records. After a while, the band signed a contract with Columbia Records to publish their EP "Black Lines to Battlefields" (produced by Aaron Sprinkle) through of the Militia Group.
