Ace troubleshooter

Ace Troubleshooter , often abbreviated Ace , is an American pop punk band from Plymouth, Minnesota. Formed in December 1995, the band has five albums on the Tooth and Nail Records label.

Formed in Plymouth, Minnesota, the band attracted interest in 1996 by winning a national competition, sponsored by Sam Goody. Warne calls the group after the phrase ace troubleshooter, which he read in a book.

The formation of Ace Troubleshooter changes several times, starting out as a trio: John Warne, Josh Abbott and Matt Pacyga. They recruit Isaac Deaton as second guitarist in 1998. Many bassists and guitarists will pass in the group. Only two of the first members, John Warne and Josh Abbott, remain there until the end. Both played in Guerilla Rodeo shortly before the dissolution of Ace.

The band Relient K and Ace toured together. The drummer Dave Douglas, touring member for Relient K, becomes their guitarist for a short time. Warne will become bassist for Relient K after Brian Pittman leaves. Matt Thiessen of Relient K explains in 2000 that Ace allowed them to live on their bus, Connect K having barely started>.
