Al Martino (born under the name of Alfred Cini in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, October 7, 1927 - died October 13, 2009 in Springfield, Pennsylvania) was a singer and American actor. He enjoyed his greatest success as a singer between the early 1950s and the mid-1970s, where he was described as "one of the great Italian-American pop crooners" > and also became known as an actor, particularly for his role as singer Johnny Fontane in The Godfather.
