Alien Ant Farm is an American rock band from Riverside, California. He was trained in 1996. After a first album entitled Greatest Hits , Alien Ant Farm signed with New Noize. This label distributes its second album ANThology in 2001.

The recovery of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal hit the top spot for sales in the United States, Australia and Canada. new Zealand>. This one is part of the soundtrack of American Pie 2. At the third BET Awards, the band plays These Days in front of the Kodak Theater, in Hollywood, before being arrested by the police. The different videos taken will be used for the song's clip.

The band was formed in the mid 1990s by Dryden Mitchell (vocals), Terry Corso (guitar), Mike Cosgrove (drums) and Tye Zamora (bass). In 1996, they recorded a demo titled $ 100 EP which included five songs>, then a second in 1998 titled Love Songs, which included four songs>.

In 1999, Alien Ant Farm released his first studio album, "Greatest Hits" , which includes a first version of Smooth Criminal>. He won the "Best Independent Album" award at the L.A. Music Awards that same year. In 2000, after befriending Papa Roach, Alien Ant Farm signed to DreamWorks SKG for their second album, ANThology>.
