Ana vidovic

Ana Vidović (born November 8, 1980 in Karlovac, near Zagreb, Croatia) is a classical guitarist of Croatian origin.

Ana Vidović began studying guitar at the age of 5, inspired by her brother Viktor and his father, an electric guitar player. Young prodigy, she began an international career at the age of 11 and became, at age 13, the youngest student ever integrated into the National Musical Academy in Zagreb. Her reputation in Europe allowed her to study at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, USA, with Manuel Barrueco, from which she graduated in 2003. She has lived in the United States ever since.

Ana Vidović plays with a guitar of the Australian luthier Jim Redgate.

Criticism is laudatory: "His game has everything - clarity, warmth, precision and intuition of intent - and his repertoire is immensely varied. ">
