Angeles del infierno

Ángeles del Infierno is a Spanish heavy metal and hard rock band from Lasarte-Oria, Guipúzcoa. He was trained in 1978 by guitarist Robert Alvarez and bassist Santi Rubio. The group is considered by the specialized press as a legend of heavy metal in Spanish>.

Ángeles del Infierno (which means in Spanish "Angels of Hell" ) is formed in 1978> in Lasarte-Oria, Guipúzcoa. Robert lived in Switzerland for 10 years, where he formed a band called The Flood. Already in the Basque Country, he meets the guitarist Santi; The band's band is composed of Robert Alvarez (solo guitar), Santi Rubio (bass), Manu García (rhythm guitar) and Iñaki Munita (drums).

C Juan Gallardo becomes their singer at the beginning of 1982 and decides to definitively change the band's name to Ángeles del Infierno. Most of the songs are composed by Juan Gallardo and Robert Alvarez. Ángeles del Infierno plays for bands such as AC / DC, Motörhead in November 1982 (at the Palacio de los Deportes in Bilbao) and Saxon in April 1983 (Velodrome de Anoeta), and participates in the Mazarrock Festival in 1983. At that time, Jesús Caja becomes their artistic agent. The group signs with the multinational WEA. Their first album, Pacto con el Diablo, is published by Warner Music. It is registered at Mediterráneo Studios of Ibiza. Their second studio album, Diabolicca, is also recorded at the Mediterráneo Studios. "Mariskal" Diego Romero and Dennis Herman return to the band and lead the group towards a heavier metal path.

In 2003, the group met and signed with Botina Bros to launch their sixth studio album after eight years of break, entitled Todos Somos Ángeles. On May 9, 2004, the band played with Rata Blanca at the Iberoamericano Rock Festival "Vive Latino" in Mexico City. On November 21, 2007, they play at Plaza Aragon in Chicago, Illinois.
