Beatallica

Beatallica is a comedy rock and heavy metal American band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The band's musical style mixes Beatles and Metallica songs. The music and song lyrics are inspired by the Beatles (including phrases from both bands), and played in a thrash metal style.

The group was formed in 2001 by singer Jaymz Lennfield, and guitarist Krk Hammetson. Their first title A Garage Dayz Nite is recorded for an annual concert in Milwaukee. A few dozen copies of the album are made and distributed to friends, one of whom, David Dixon, creates a website where he proposes the titles of the album for free download. He is the one who names the band Beatallica. The group remains unaware of this site until the summer of 2002 when Dixon meets them to transmit a series of emails from fans around the world. The group finally agrees to the site and, at the request of the fans, records a second album entitled "Beatallica" (but known as The Gray Album) released April 1, 2004>. Also in 2004, the band (which now includes Kliff McBurtney on bass and Ringo Larz on percussion) begins to perform in public in shows incorporating elements from both The Beatles and Metallica.

In 2005 and 2006, the group toured internationally, playing more than 60 concerts in cities such as London on April 26, 2006. Beatallica will tour with Motorhead, Testament, Kreator, Sepultura, LA Guns and will perform in several festivals such as Summerfest. Milwaukee, the Earthshaker Festival in Germany, the Kings of Metal Festival in the Netherlands, and the Busan International Rock Festival in South Korea. In 2007, the group, which includes Jaymz Lennfield (vocals, rhythm guitar), Grg Hammetson (lead guitar), Kliff McBurtney (bass, backing vocals) and Ringo Larz (drums), enters the studio to re-record several official songs by Krk and Jaymz and write the songs of their first studio album, Sgt. Hetfield's Motorbreath Pub Band. In May 2008 Beatallica's single All You Need is Blood is released, recorded in 13 languages ​​to thank all fans of the world, fans they nicknamed Beatallibangers. The group then toured Belgium, the Czech Republic and Poland. Sgt. Hetfield 's Motorbreath Pub Band is published in Poland by Metal Mind Productions. In September and October 2008 released the album Sgt. Hetfield 's Motorbreath Pub Band and the single "All You Need is Blood in Japan by Sony - ATV. On April 1, 2009 (Beatallica's birthday), Beatallica meets Metallica after a show in Paris, France.

On August 4, 2009, Masterful Mystery Tour , the group's second album is published internationally>. On September 9, 2009, Masterful Mystery Tour is released in Japan by Sony-ATV, which includes two bonus songs, the live version of the songs I Want to Choke Your Band and Revol-ooh-tion, recorded live in Milwaukee.
