Betontod is a German punk rock band from Rheinberg. As of date, the band has more than 500 concerts, and about five albums and two live albums.

The group is formed in the early 1990s in Rheinberg. Initially, they are called Extrem, and later Sniffin 'Kills, before finally taking the name Betontod (literally "The Death of Concrete" ).

In 2010, they signed to the independent Better than Hell label. They publish there the album GlaubeLiebeHoffnung>, which reaches for the first time the German rankings. In August 2011 arrives on the market their album Antirockstars, just after the availability in the stores of EP Keine Popsongs. In 2011, they participate in G.O.N.D. and declare that they will be present at the Wacken Open Air>. They also perform at the Punk-im-Pott Festival, Spirit of the Street Festival, Ruhrpott Rodeo, and Rock Am Turm between 2011 and 2012, and in 2012 at Rockharz Open Air and Summer Breeze. On August 31, 2012, Betontods released the album Entschuldigung für Nichts, produced by Vincent Sorg, which includes elements of ska and heavy metal. The album reaches the top 10>.

In 2013, they embarked for Full-Metal Cruise then at With Full Force>. In October 2013 the Viva Punk live album - Mit Vollgas durch die Hölle. Their new album, Traum von Freiheit, is released on February 27, 2015>. On January 13, 2017, the album Revolution> is released.
