Billy talent

Billy Talent is a Canadian punk rock band from Mississauga, Ontario. He trained in 1993 with Benjamin Kowalewicz on vocals, Ian D'Sa on guitar, Jon Gallant on bass, and Aaron Solowoniuk on drums. No training changes until Aaron's departure in 2016, Jordan Hastings of Alexisonfire, Cunter and Say Yes replace him. In 13 years of existence, Billy Talent has more than one million albums sold in Canada alone and nearly 3 million albums internationally.

The members meet and play at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School under the name of Pezz and remain underground in Toronto's independent music scene until 2001. The band is renamed Billy Talent because of rights issues. They then sign to Warner Music Canada and become more popular. As a result, Billy Talent is certified multi-platinum in Canada> and continues to expand his overseas success with a 20-month tour supporting his second album. They release their third album, titled Billy Talent III, on July 14, 2009, and their fourth album, Dead Silence, on September 4, 2012. Dead Silence is followed by a British tour at the end of 2012.

The group is from Streetsville, Ontario, a small part of Mississauga, near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. All members were at the same school, named Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School. In 1993, Ben Kowalewicz, Jon Gallant, Aaron Solowoniuk, all members of the band To Each His Own, and Ian D'Sa, a member of the group Dragon Flower and then Soluble Fish meet behind the scenes of a talent show.

They founded the Pezz group soon after, began to compose and play their compositions and to attract the attention of the public, in particular during their collaboration with the Junos. After recording two EPs (Demoluca and Dudebox), their first album named Watoosh! fate in 1999 >>>.
