Blue october

Blue October is an American rock and alternative rock band from Houston, Texas. Formed in 1996, its members are at the end of 2006 Justin Furstenfeld (vocals), Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums and percussion), Ryan Delahoussaye (violin, viola, mandolin, keyboard, vocals), CB Hudson (guitar), and Matt Noveskey (bass guitar) .

In 1998, their first album, The Answers, was released by the family record label "RoDan Entertainment". The local success of this album allowed them to be noticed by Universal, which published their second album, Consent to Treatment, in 1999. In 2002, the album History for sale was published by Brando Records, then thanks to its success, taken again by Universal, who had abandoned them after Consent to Treatment. The extract Calling you allowed them to increase their popularity by appearing on the soundtrack of the film Folies graduation 3: The wedding (American Pie 3: Married in France, original title: American Wedding).

In 2006, the release of the album Foiled allows them to obtain their greatest hits. The Hate excerpt reaches me the second position in Billboard magazine's Modern Rock Tracks, followed by the second Into the ocean, which reaches the twentieth position of the same chart.
