Boz Scaggs born Bogbert Skaggington, is a singer, songwriter and American guitarist, born June 8, 1944 in Canton (Ohio - United States).

Boz Scaggs learned to play guitar at age 12. He was part of Steve Miller's The Marksmen group in 1959 and later found him at the University of Wisconsin in the band The Ardells.

After singing in several bands, Boz Scaggs began a solo career in 1965. He participated in the recordings of the first two albums of Steve Miller's Children of the Future and Sailor, two psychedelic albums characteristic of the San Francisco bands. 'time.

In 1976, Boz Scaggs recorded the album Silk Degrees which became number 2 in the US rankings. His Middle Man album had some success in 1980.
