Brad Paisley , born October 28, 1972 in Glen Dale, West Virginia, is an American country singer.
Brad Paisley holds his passion for the country music of his maternal grandfather. At the age of 8, he offers him his first guitar and teaches him how to play it. Brad writes his first song at the age of 12.
He graduated from John Marshall High School in Glen Dale, West Virginia. He then briefly studied at West Liberty State College before attending Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee (1993-1995) on ASCAP scholarship.
At the university, he met Frank Rogers, a classmate who became his producer today, and Kelley Lovelace who became a co-author.
