Bullet for my valentine

Bullet for My Valentine is a British heavy metal band from Bridgend, Wales. The group consists of Matthew Tuck (lead vocal, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jamie Mathias (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Jason Bowld (drums). They were originally trained as Jeff Killed John and started their musical career with Metallica and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John records six songs that have not been marketed; two of these songs were later reworked by Bullet for My Valentine.

The first Bullet for My Valentine album, entitled "The Poison" , was released on 23 October 2005 in the United Kingdom and 14 February 2006 in the United States. United to coincide with Valentine's Day. The album ranks at 128> place in the Billboard 200 in the United States. It is certified gold album by the Recording Industry Association of America. The band's second album, entitled "Scream Aim Fire ", was released on January 29, 2008 and reached fourth place in the Billboard 200 . The third album of the group, Fever , is marketed on April 28, 2010 and reaches the third place of the Billboard 200 . In 2012 the group counted more than one million copies sold in the United States alone and more than 5 million worldwide.

Jeff Killed John is the first name for Bullet for My Valentine, a group formed in Wales, UK, in 1998 and composed of Matthew Tuck, Michael "Padge" Paget, Nick Crandle, and Michael "Moose" Thomas, while studying at Bridgend College. Mimicking bands such as Nirvana and Metallica, the band released an EP of two compositions in 2002, produced by Greg Haver. EP is played at BBC Radio 1>. The band's music Jeff Killed John focuses on the nu metal of bands such as Korn and Limp Bizkit. Bassist Crandle leaves the band and is replaced by Jason James. The band then changes its name to Bullet for My Valentine and revises its musical style; he decides to choose thrash metal>.

The record label Roadrunner Records is very interested in Bullet for My Valentine and their offer to include the label. The group refuses this offer and signs at Sony BMG and Visible Noise. According to Tuck, they chose Sony because they thought it would open up more possibilities. An EP of the same name is marketed on 14 November 2004 in the United Kingdom. Produced by Colin Richardson, it consists of five songs and marks the band's first official EP>. A second EP, Hand of Blood , is released August 22, 2005 at Trustkill Records in the United States only; it contained a bonus song called 4 Words (To Choke Upon) .
