Capture , formerly Capture the Crown , is an Australian metalcore band from Sydney, New South Wales. The group is formed in 2010. The founding members are Blake Ellis, guitarist and bassist, Jye Menzies, guitarist and Jeffrey Wellfare, singer. Their first single, You Call That a Knife? This Is a Knife !, is a success on YouTube. He gets 5 million views in the year following its publication. The group is considered the Australian Asking Alexandria by the critics. The first drummer Tyler March, from the USA, has been, until now, the only non-Australian member. Kris Sheehan, who played in the band Curse At 27 with Wellfare, joined the group in 2011.

The group was formed in 2010 in Sydney, New South Wales, by Blake Ellis on guitar (later on bass), Jye Menzies on guitar, and Jeffrey Wellfare on vocals. The group is becoming popular on YouTube, especially with its first video of the song You Call That a Knife? This Is a Knife! , with five million views in one year>. Wellfare, Menzies, and Ellis are former members of a local metalcore band called Atlanta Takes State. They are well received by the metal scene, and rented by other groups like Asking Alexandria. Their drummer, Tyler March (known by the nickname Lone America, and for playing on A Late Night Serenade), is the only member from outside Australia (Carlisle, Pennsylvania, USA).

Four months later, on March 11, 2012, the group released a second single, # OIMATEWTF , featuring Denis Shaforostov, from Make Me Famous group. at this time, with the song>. The video reaches almost 500,000 views in less than six months. A month later, they released a cover of Jason Derülo's In My Head , which was followed by a fourth single, Ladies and Gentlemen. .. I Give You Hell, July 1, 2012, reaching 350,000 views in less than two months. On August 20, 2012, the group announces its participation in the Woe, Is, Talk to You! Talk Your #?! Me, especially with Chunk! No, Captain Chunk !, Our Last Night, Secrets, and The Seeking>. On November 24, 2012, the band announced its first studio album, "Til Death" on December 18th. They then reveal the cover and the list of the album tracks. In December 2012, the band signed to the Sumerian Records label, which will release their new album. This announcement comes with a video clip of the song Ladies and Gentlemen ... I Give You Hell . On December 13, 2012, the band released a single from their new album, RVG , on YouTube>. On December 18, 2012, the first album of the group, 'Til Death, is recorded at Chango Studios and produced and mixed by Cameron Mizell and mastered by Joey Sturgis. It achieves three Billboard rankings, including 21> Top Hard Rock, seventh place in the Top Heatseekers, and 25> Top Independent Albums. >.
