Cathedral

Cathedral is a group of British doom metal, from Coventry, England>. The group became popular with its first album, Forest of Equilibrium , considered by the specialized press as a classic of the genre>. After nine studio albums and many tours over two decades, Cathedral breaks up after the release of The Last Spire in 2013.

The group was founded in 1989 by Lee Dorrian, former singer of Napalm Death, Garry Jennings of Acid Reign and Mark Griffiths who was roadie for Carcass >>>. Lee Dorrian had just left Napalm Death because he did not like the band's death metal turn.
