Chaka khan

Yvette Marie Stevens , known as Chaka Khan , is an American singer born March 23, 1953 in North Chicago, Illinois, USA. grew up in Chicago, in the South Side District. The songs I'm Every Woman and Is not Nobody (with his band Rufus) and his cover of Prince I Feel for You are some of his greatest hits. The singer has received numerous awards throughout her career, including eight Grammy Awards. She has explored genres as diverse as soul, funk, disco, jazz, hip-hop, blues, pop and even progressive rock with Rick Wakeman or the standards of the Great American Songbook.

In 2012, she is headlining the Californian lesbian festival, Dinah Shore.
