Crashdiet

Crashdïet is a group of sleaze rock and Swedish glam metal. The band has a total of four studio albums, Rest in Sleaze released in 2005, The Unattractive Revolution released in 2007, released in 2010, and The Savage Playground released in 2013.

The group is formed in Stockholm in 2000>. With influences such as Guns N 'Roses, Mötley Crüe, Skid Row and Hanoi Rocks>, Crashdïet is very quickly sensation thanks to the release of their first demos, diffused in free download on their web site. In 2002, the band broke up but singer Dave Lepard reformed the band. In 2004, the group signed to the Universal Music label, and then prepared the recording of his first studio album.

The band releases its first album, Rest in Sleaze , May 20, 2005>. The album reaches 12> place of Swedish rankings, and includes singles Riot in Everyone , Breaking the Chainz , Knokk 'em Down , and It's a Miracle . In support of the album, the band is touring the country. The album and the tour are a success but do not allow the group to be exported from Sweden. The band also plays at the Download Festival in the UK, the same year>

On January 20, 2006, the singer Dave Lepard (only 25 years old) puts an end to his days after a depression. After the death of their singer, the group makes this announcement on their official website: "We're not going to end like this with Crashdïet" The three remaining members decide to continue without Lepard, and perform a last concert in tribute to their missing member in February 2006>. A few months later, the group discusses its future and decides to recruit a new singer. On January 22, 2007, the band unveils the name of their new singer, H. Olliver Twisted>.
